Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited is a hydropower development company established with the vision of contributing to Nepal’s sustainable energy future. The Company is led by experienced professionals and accomplished local entrepreneurs from diverse fields, including management, engineering, and public affairs, who are committed to upholding high standards of corporate governance and operational excellence.
The Company holds a 4.993 MW hydropower project license for Lower Tadi Khola (LTK) Hydropower Project, located in Nuwakot District of central Nepal. The project’s headworks are situated approximately 150 meters downstream of the confluence of Tadi (Suryamati) Khola and Chandramati Khola. The powerhouse has been constructed on the left bank of an alluvial deposit, approximately 300 meters upstream of the headworks of Aadishakti Hydropower Plant (5 MW).
In line with its mission to advance the hydropower sector in Nepal, Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited is also committed to supporting infrastructure development in the communities in which it operates, while prioritizing environmental conservation and sustainable practices. The Lower Tadi Khola Hydropower Project was completed in February 2022 and has been in commercial operation since its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 24 March 2022.
